When you're buying a second hand car, there's always the risk of issues. Always. I'd always be suspicious of reviews that never, ever speak of any issues at all, and would rather know how the dealers deal with issues when they do arise, no matter how rarely. It's very easy to write a one-line review saying "great, no problems, excellent" when there were no issues. However, the true test of how great (or not) a car dealer is comes when there are issues. And thankfully, Alex Scott comes out with 5 stars for this, too! After being met at the train station in the town close by with the car itself, I drove the car back to the dealers. The car was indeed as described, though with light starting to fade at the time I went to see and collect the car (a 21 plate Suzuki Vitara) it made a visual inspection something of a challenge. The drive home was flawless but the following day I noted there was some minor cracking on a couple of external plastic trim parts and a stonechip which I really wished I spotted at the time. Neither of the trim parts affected the car in any way other than aesthetically and I was expecting to be told "well you should have spotted that before you drove off" (as other dealers would have I'm sure), so when I reported the issues to Jonathan there, I wasn't exactly hopeful of a positive response. I couldn't have been more wrong. Within minutes of the email (and photographs) being sent, Jonathan called me. He expressed his most sincere apologies and was honest, he explained this was simply something that was overlooked and it should not have happened. But, he insisted from the start, he would put it right at no cost to me. And sure enough, he proceeded to order the replacement parts and touch-up paint kit immediately from Suzuki and sent them to me at their own expense. The next issue of course is how to fit the parts. Again, no problem. I was directed to book the car in at a local garage (or come back to them if I did fancy the 4 hour cross-country drive from Manchester!) and they will pay the cost of having the parts replaced after. So I did, a local garage did it for me, and Alex Scott refunded the amount within 48 hours, no problems at all. Alex Scott handled it all perfectly and they absolutely would get my business again next time. Without question. Thanks again chaps, first class service and an honest admission that mistakes do sometimes (and rarely) happen. It's ok, we're all only human. And to deal with a "human" car dealers these days, is something rare in itself. These guys are friendly, welcoming, helpful and patient, and - importantly - do not engage in pressure selling in any way. You won't regret buying from them, I certainly don't and I'm very fussy! Thanks again!

Excellent service,no pushiness or pressure when looking around,seen a car liked went back a couple of days later,Maz showed me around the car showing me everything I needed to see,took it for a test drive came back and sorted everything out,got the car later that week all serviced,mot's and very clean.
